“I have had hepatitis C for at least 30 years. After discovering I had this disease when donating blood, I made it a point to check my viral load on a regular basis. As the years went by, I knew that my liver was being destroyed with no symptoms. When a new medicine became available, I decided to seek approval with my doctor’s guidance and apply to receive this life saving drug.
