Fund Finder open on a mobile phone

FundFinder, a free app powered by the PAN Foundation that helps patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals find financial support for out-of-pocket treatment costs, received top recognition in the 2021 Edison Best New Product Awards.

FundFinder was awarded “Gold” in its category for prescription drug access platforms. These awards were chosen as the “best of the best” by 3,000 of the world’s top senior business executives, academics, and innovation professionals. Originally established in 1987, the Edison Awards™ have recognized and honored some of the most innovative products and business leaders in the world and are among the most prestigious accolades honoring excellence in new product and service development, marketing, design, and innovation.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition for FundFinder,” said Dan Klein, PAN Foundation President and CEO. “We created FundFinder because we saw tremendous need from patients and healthcare professionals for tool that could alert them when financial assistance was available at charitable foundations. Without help from charities, thousands of people dealing with a serious illness have no other way of affording their critical medications.”

Since December 2018, FundFinder has grown to 39,000 users and sent 830,000 notifications to users when financial assistance became available for a specific illness. FundFinder tracks over 200 funds across eight charitable foundations and offers a directory of over 150 patient support organizations. Learn more at fundfinder.org.
